I think the biggest thing this game needs is more ‘juice’ – right now the animation and experience of the game is simple which leads to low satisfaction in beating a level. I think that can be corrected by adding in animation to make the game feel more alive, interactive and responsive to the play. Id suggest watching the below video which describes the concept nicely.
